As director of TLS it's my responsibility to oversee, design and implement programs and strategies which enhance the delivery of technology and learning services throughout the university community. I am involved in improvements to the University's technology infrastructure including Internet 2, distance learning, podcasting, television studio, nonlinear and linear editing systems, classroom technology lecterns and projection systems. I also train staff and faculty on the use of these systems. I teach video and multimedia as part of the Broadcast and Cinema Arts major.

I am responsible for everything that comes out  of our TV Studio. One of the exciting things we do is produce a television show with our Broadcast and Cinema Arts major, called “Madonna Magazine”. I am the Senior Producer for that program, which means I’m responsible for content. Madonna Magazine is crewed by students taking the television production classes. I am also responsible for our internet radio station. If you want to tune in, go to Madonna radio station and search for Madonna. It will walk you through the steps you need to tune us in! We also have a virtual cyber world at Active Worlds  It will walk you through our virtual TV and radio museums, you might learn something you didn’t know! Our world, is simply named MadonnaU.

I'm responsible for providing morning technology support for the classrooms and backup support for the computer labs and the IT Help Desk.  If you need help with your classroom presentations on computer, DVD, video or audio, just give me a call and I'll be happy to provide training or assistance as needed.  I'm also the person to email for requests for room reservations for campus events and meetings. I look forward to working with you Mondays through Fridays 8am to noon!

I truly enjoy my responsibility of providing technology support to the faculty, staff, student lab staff, and students participating in on-line classes, at Madonna University.  The continuous evolution of technology provides a constant support challenge.  Training and support is accomplished through workshops, websites, handouts, e-mail, and one-on-one tutoring sessions. I'm also responsible for the IT Help Desk which provides one point-of-contact for all technology assistance.

I manage classroom technology and support for faculty, staff and students.  I coordinate web and phone conferencing.  I'm the university liaison with ETOM (Educational Technology of Michigan), Annenberg Media, Coastline Learning Systems, Intelecom and Dallas Telelearning.  I keep faculty apprised of newly produced distance learning courses.  I'm responsible for licensing and reporting enrollment for telecourses, on-line and hybrid courses to the State.   I would be glad to answer any questions you may have.  Please call or email anytime!

As part of the TLS department, my duties include training and support for Blackboard (our online learning management software) and Microsoft Office Suite.  I work with students, faculty and staff.  I also help troubleshoot hardware and software issues.  I work closely with many technology areas including the IT Help Desk, Instructional Design, Classroom Technology Support, Network Services, and many more.  If you need technology assistance or advice on a project, please feel free to call or email.

It's my responsibility to schedule media equipment needed by faculty, staff and students.  I provide classroom technology support by delivering, setting-up and when necessary, troubleshooting problems. When faculty, staff and students need assistance I provide training or schedule training or practice sessions on using media equipment. This includes, but is not limited to, computers, projection, camcorders, microphones, technology lecterns, PowerPoint presentations or other software applications. I also assist with video duplication, satellite and web conferences, video feeds to the classroom and special events scheduled on campus including Kresge Hall, Science Lecture Hall, and other conference areas. I’m responsible for evening and weekend coverage.  If you need assistance please don't hesitate to call. I'll be happy to help you in any way that I can.

It's my responsibility to organize and direct the activities of the Technology Learning Center consisting of the PC labs and the Mac Lab to ensure that faculty, students and staff receive academic computer support.  I also schedule lab times for faculty.  Faculty can e-mail their lab request to me or fill out a Computer Lab Reservation Request form. There are more than 200 different software packages available in the computer labs.  Student lab assistants are available to assist with basic questions regarding most software.  If you would like to learn more about our lab facilities and services please stop by and I'll be happy to give you a tour.

I provide training and support for faculty, staff, and students in their use of technology to enhance teaching, learning, and research. I do this by maintaining the Faculty Professional Development Multimedia Lab which serves as a training center and production facility for faculty. I coordinate the Blackboard Tech Support website and also partner with faculty to redesign their traditional courses for online delivery. Additionally, I coordinate the How to Thrive in an Online Course workshops for students as well as Faculty Professional Development workshops on integrating technology into the curriculum, particularly Blackboard workshops and Online Instructor Certification workshops. From an instructional point of view, I assist administrators and faculty with photographic visuals that could be incorporated into photo displays, documentation, distance learning, thesis presentations, workshops, and video productions. From a promotional point of view, I support the university by providing photographs and photographic services for various publications including print and electronic.
