Requesting Documents

Off campus students, enrolled in programs in Gaylord or at other remote Madonna University satellite sites, have the same library privileges as students attending on campus classes. When instruction is offered at remote sites and students cannot be expected to physically come to the library facility, library staff will mail materials to these students. The student must contact the library requesting the materials. Contact may be via e-mail, telephone, fax or U.S. mail.

To request a journal article you must provide the following information:

  • The title of the article
  • The author(s)
  • The title of the journal
  • The volume number (some journals use issue numbers without volume numbers)
  • The issue number
  • The page numbers
  • The maximum amount that you are willing to pay for the article if we have to go outside of Madonna to get it. (We will not charge you for items we can supply from our collections.) If we have to go to another library we may be charged anywhere from a couple of dollars up to $12.00.   If you are willing to pay that much you are very likely to get the article. We will get the article for the least amount possible up to the maximum amount you tell us you are willing to spend.
  • Include your name and address.

Please allow 1 - 2 weeks for delivery of item.

  • The place and date of publication (if known)
  • The maximum amount that you are willing to pay for the book if we have to go outside of Madonna to get it. (We will not charge you for items we can supply from our collections.)
