Sophomore Allie Named WHAC Player of the Week

		Dina Allie earned WHAC Player of the Week honors after scoring one goal and assisting on two others in the Crusaders 2-0 week.

LIVONIA, Mich. -- The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference announced on Monday afternoon that Madonna sophomore forward Dina Allie (Livonia, MI/Stevenson HS) was named Player of the Week for September 18, 2006.

Allie scored one goal and posted one assist in Madonna's 4-0 win over Concordia on Tuesday (Sept. 12).  She then added the game winning assist in the Crusaders' 1-0 win over Aquinas on Saturday (Sept. 16).

Allie is currently tied for third on the MU squad in goals (2) and first in assists (3).  She is also second on the team in total points, recording seven total points in the Crusaders nine games this season.

The Crusaders (5-2-2) look to extend their unbeaten streak to six games when they host Indiana Tech on Tuesday, September 19, at Greenmead Field.
