Senior All-American Lubovj Tihomirova was named Wolverine-Hoosier
Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week ending September 7, 2008.
This is the first WHAC award of the season.
Tihomirova
led the Crusaders to the 2008 Julie Martin Memorial Tournament title over the
weekend. The reigning WHAC Player of the Year posted 66 kills and a 43 percent
attacking rate as the 10th- ranked Crusaders went a perfect 4-0 in their opening
home tournament.
Madonna
opens WHAC play on Tuesday at Concordia in a 7pm match.
