LIVONIA, Mich.

Pat Griffin
(Redford, MI/Catholic Central HS) led Madonna to a 4-1 win
after collecting a hat trick against Indiana Tech on Wednesday
afternoon at Greenmead Field.
Griffin picked up his fifth goal of the season in an unassisted
effort at the 63:22 mark in the second half for his final goal of
the day.
Sophomore midfielder Doron Drai
(Kfar-Yona, Israel) netted his third goal of the year to cap
off the Crusaders scoring after an assist from
Derrick Mudri
(Fowlerville, MI/Fowlerville HS).
Junior goal keeper Ryan Mathe (Ypsilanti,
MI/Ypsilanti Lincoln HS)
recorded four saves in net for the Crusaders
and allowed only one goal.
Madonna posted 22 total shots, including
11 on target with eight corner kicks.
Indiana Tech recorded only
13 total shots, including
five on net along with
one
corner kick.
The Madonna
men's soccer team will
next be in action on Saturday, Sept.
23, as the Crusaders travel to
Adrian to play Siena Heights at 2:00 p.m. (ET).
