Crusaders Receive Votes in Top 25 Preseason Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. --
The Madonna University men's soccer team received votes in the Preseason
Poll, released Tuesday (August 19) by the National Association of
Intercollegiate Athletics. The Crusaders received 91 points from voting
coaches to earn the 27th-most points in the poll, joining two other WHAC
programs that received votes in the preseason poll.
The Crusaders received the most
votes among WHAC programs, with Aquinas College and Davenport University
each garnering a vote apiece.
Madonna opens the 2008 season San
Diego, California, taking on 16th-ranked Point Loma Nazarene University on
Friday (Aug. 29) at 3:00 p.m. PST.
