Head Coach Paul Thomas

Hometown: Manchester, England
Education: Staffordshire University (England), '00

Paul Thomas begins his first year as head coach of the Madonna women's soccer program in 2006.  Thomas takes over from Mark Zathey who served the position for four seasons.

A native of Manchester, England, Thomas has been playing or coaching soccer for over 20 years.

As a player, Thomas has seen time with numerous clubs and teams including the Crewe Alexander Professional Football Club, Witton Albion Football Club and Saginaw Valley State University.  While at SVSU, Thomas was a all-conference selection in 2002.

His coaching background runs the gammut from summer camps to the professional ranks.  Most recently, Thomas spends time as the Head Coach for the U-11 Boys teams at the Northville Premier Soccer Club.  Thomas has also held the position of Director of Training for the Midland Soccer Club and was an assistant coach at Saginaw Valley State from 2003-2004.

Thomas currently holds Advanced and Premier Diploma's from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) and is a USSF B and C licensed coach.
