Danielle Strickland scored twice for the Crusaders in a 5-0 win over Aquinas.

LIVONIA, MI - -  The Madonna women's soccer team ran their season record to 6-4-3 and stayed unbeaten in WHAC play with a 5-0 home conference win over Aquinas Tuesday afternoon.

Danielle Strickland led the charge for the Crusaders, scoring less than two minutes into the game, then again mid-way through the second half for the Crusaders.

Kelly Japowicz added two assists for Madonna who also got goals from Loren Tacconelli, Liz Slebodnik and Teresa Henderson.

Goalkeeper Diana Kaip pitched the shutout, her third, facing four shots and making one save.

The Crusaders look to hang on to first place when they travel to Siena Heights Saturday at noon.
