FORT WAYNE, Ind.

The Madonna women's
soccer team posted a clean sheet against Indiana Tech with a 2-0 win
on chilly Friday night in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
The Crusaders were led by
Kelly Japowicz
(Harper Woods, Mich./Grosse Pointe North HS) who scored the
game winning goal and assisted on the other MU goal.
Freshman
Kaila Moore
(Howell, Mich./Howell HS) recorded the Crusaders' second goal
at the 58:48 mark of the second half.
Sophomore
Dina Allie
(Livonia, Mich./Stevenson HS) was credited with the lone
assist on Japowicz's goal in the seventh minute of play.
Madonna improves to 11-3-2 overall and 9-1-1 in WHAC play. The
Crusaders move three points ahead of Cornerstone for the league lead
with the rest of the week's conference matches to take place on
Saturday afternoon.
Madonna will return home to host Siena Heights in a 4:00 p.m. (ET)
tilt at Greenmead Field on Tuesday, Oct. 17.
