LIVONIA, Mich.

Ashley Stoychoff
(Canton, MI/Plymouth Salem HS) scored two unassisted goals,
her first two of the season, setting the tone for a 5-0 WHAC victory
over Indiana Tech Tuesday afternoon at Greenmead Field.
Stoychoff's first goal
came at the 26:52 mark of the first half, an unassisted strike to
give MU the early lead.
The score stayed 1-0
after the first half until Stoychoff struck again at the 48:05 mark
for a 2-0 lead.
Freshman
Kaila Moore
(Howell, MI/Howell HS) was next to get into the act, scoring
thirteen minutes later (61:42) with her third of the season.
Already up 3-0 and
controlling play, the Crusaders got their fourth goal on a
Kati Germane
(Hartland, MI/Hartland HS) penalty kick with just under 10
minutes to play, her fourth goal of the year.
Freshman
Alana Lavery
(Livonia, MI/Stevenson HS) capped the scoring with an
unassisted goal at the 84:53 mark for the 5-0 victory.
Madonna goal keeper
Traci Anderson
(Brighton, MI/Brighton HS) recorded her sixth shutout of the
year, making saves on both Warrior shots on goal.
The win ups Madonna's
record to 6-2-2 overall and 4-0-1 in league play. Indiana Tech
falls to 1-9-0, 1-3-0 in the WHAC.
The Crusaders are back
in action Friday when they travel to Siena Heights to face the first
place Saints in a 3:30 tilt.
