Ashley Stoychoff scored two goals, propelling MU to a 5-0 win over Indiana Tech.

LIVONIA, Mich. -- Madonna sophomore Ashley Stoychoff (Canton, MI/Plymouth Salem HS) scored two unassisted goals, her first two of the season, setting the tone for a 5-0 WHAC victory over Indiana Tech Tuesday afternoon at Greenmead Field.

Stoychoff's first goal came at the 26:52 mark of the first half, an unassisted strike to give MU the early lead.

The score stayed 1-0 after the first half until Stoychoff struck again at the 48:05 mark for a 2-0 lead.

Freshman Kaila Moore (Howell, MI/Howell HS) was next to get into the act, scoring thirteen minutes later (61:42) with her third of the season.

Already up 3-0 and controlling play, the Crusaders got their fourth goal on a Kati Germane (Hartland, MI/Hartland HS) penalty kick with just under 10 minutes to play, her fourth goal of the year.

Freshman Alana Lavery (Livonia, MI/Stevenson HS) capped the scoring with an unassisted goal at the 84:53 mark for the 5-0 victory.

Madonna goal keeper Traci Anderson (Brighton, MI/Brighton HS) recorded her sixth shutout of the year, making saves on both Warrior shots on goal.

The win ups Madonna's record to 6-2-2 overall and 4-0-1 in league play.  Indiana Tech falls to 1-9-0, 1-3-0 in the WHAC.

The Crusaders are back in action Friday when they travel to Siena Heights to face the first place Saints in a 3:30 tilt.
