LIVONIA, MI.
- The
Madonna women's soccer team got off to a good start Monday with a 5-1 exhibition
victory over visiting Findlay (OH) at Greenmead Field.
Four different
Crusaders, all newcomers to the 2005 roster, found the net for Madonna.
Freshman
Dina Allie
(Livonia, MI./Stevenson) got the scoring started in the first half and later
added a second goal.
Also scoring for the Crusaders were freshman
Lacie
Slebodnik (Romulus, MI./Woodhaven) and
Ashley Stoychoff
(Canton, MI./Salem) as well as junior transfer
Katie Kramer
(Highland, MI./Stony Brook University).
The Crusaders are
back in action this Thursday (Aug. 25) when they host Houghton (NY) in the
regular season opener at Greenmead Field. Game time is set for 3:00 pm.
