Played in 30 games for the Crusaders seeing the bulk of her time at the guard
position...connected on 83-of-218 field goals for a 38.1 shooting
percentage...hit 27 three pointers, good for third on the team and a 27.6
three-point percentage...finished fourth on the team with 235 points...averaged
7.8 points per game...hauled in 74 total rebounds and dished out 102 assists to
lead the team...comitted 94 turnovers in 800 plus minutes of action...scored a
career high 23 points versus Indiana Wesleyan (12/13/2003).
Sophomore Season
[2002-03]
Saw action in 32 games in her first year with the Crusaders, starting 16…average
almost five points per game last season…was fourth on the team in three point
percentage, shooting 33.8 percent behind the arc…was third on the team in
assists, with 51…scored season high 14 points against Central State on Dec. 10.
Prior to Madonna
Spent the 2001-02 school year at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI…was a
member of the women's basketball team there and was honored with the Athletic
Director's award for the highest grade point average for a student
athlete…posted a 4.00 grade point average over two semesters…was also a member
of the Dean's List both semesters at Wayne State. Appeared in nine games for the
Warriors, contributing 2.4 points per game. Saw 22 minutes of action versus UM
Dearborn January 20, 2002. Shot two-of-seven from the floor in that game. Scored
a career high five points in November 11th game versus West Virginia Wesleyan.
High School
Played for Carol Brewis at Divine Child High School and Guy Delguidice at
Fordson High...was named All- League and All-City as a senior at Divine
Child...was selected captain and team MVP as a junior at Fordson...was also
named All-West and honorable mention All-Metro her junior year...while at
Fordson, scored a career-high 32 points against Garden City as a junior...scored
27 points to help Fordson win the district title (2000) for the first time in
seven years...named Academic All-Catholic for basketball...also earned All-City
and All-League recognition in track at Fordson, while being named Freshman of
the Year...was named All-Catholic and honorable mention All-Region in track for
Divine Child...played for years of volleyball earning team MVP and captain at
Fordson her sophomore year...named Academic All-State in volleyball...also
played summer ball for the Motor City Blazers...helped the Blazers win the state
title in 2001 after finishing third the previous three years...helped lead the
Blazers to a 16th place finish at the nationals in 2001.
