Third All-America Award This Year

OLATHE, Kan.
-- Madonna University junior Caryn Inman (Oxford, Mich./Oxford HS)
was named to the 2007 NAIA Division II women's basketball Scholar
Athlete team in a statement released by the NAIA today.
Over
220 women's
basketball players from across the country have been named 2007
Daktronics-NAIA Men's Basketball All-American Scholar-Athletes.
Student-athletes must be nominated by their head coach, have
achieved junior academic status and maintain a minimum grade point
average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
Inman
,
a biology and secondary education major at Madonna University, was
named to the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference All-Academic team
in February. She was also named to the NAIA volleyball Scholar
Athlete team and earned Second Team All-America honors after
completing her senior season on the volleyball court.
On the basketball court this season, Inman finished third on the
team in rebounds (5.8 per game) and scoring (9.1 points per game)
and helped Madonna to the WHAC Tournament championship game in Grand
Rapids.
