Franklin became the eighth player in school history to eclipse 1,000
career points and also set the career record for blocked shots this
season. Franklin led the team in scoring (17.7 points per
game), rebounding (8.9 rebounds per game) and double-doubles (13).
Franklin was joined on the all-conference teams by three other MU

team. Piotrowski led the conference in three-point buckets made
this season (2.5 per game) and was third on the team in scoring (9.1
ppg).
Junior forward
Caryn Inman
(Oxford, Mich./Oxford HS) was one of six players named to the
conference Champions of Character team. The squad is selected
in order to

servant leadership and sportsmanship.
Madonna head coach Carl Graves
was named WHAC Coach of Character by his peers.
Inman and junior guard
Rebecca Rufli

All-Academic team. This award is bestowed upon juniors or seniors
with a cumulative grade point average above 3.25 on a 4.0 scale.
On Wednesday, Feb. 21, the Crusaders will be hosting their first
playoff game since 2005. Fourth-seeded Madonna will host
fifth-seeded Siena Heights in a 7:30 p.m. tip off in the Activities
Center. The winner will move on to play the winner of the
