GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The Madonna women's basketball team overcame a four-point halftime deficit to defeat No. 20 Aquinas 64-63 Monday night.

Senior guard Lindsay Klemmer (Plymouth, Mich./Plymouth Salem HS) and junior forward Martina Franklin (Redford, Mich./Redford Union HS) each tallied 20 points for Madonna.  Klemmer also collected a team high eight rebounds.

Following a timeout by the Saints, Aquinas went to Jackie Braspenninx for the final shot from 10-feet away which rolled around the rim before falling out, securing a Crusaders win.

Both teams combined for a total of 49 turnovers in the contest, including 25 by the Crusaders.
