Tihomirova helped lead the Latvian national team to the Latvian championship and was an All-Team selection in the junior European Championships as a senior ... helped her team to a second place finish in the Baltic Cup, Latvia Championships and European Championships as a junior ... also helped her squad to a third place finish and All-Team selection at the Spring Cup ... as a sophomore she was named MVP of the Baltic Cup while leading her team to the title ... also helped squad to the Rigas Championship Cup and Latvian Championship titles.

“A talented newcomer with excellent overall skills and the potential to dominate the net as both a hitter and blocker. Has the ability to terminate as an attacker and disrupt opposing teams at the net with her combination of size and strength. Can play both left and right side hitting positions, has good range and posesses a variety of offensive shots. Certainly a player who will develop into a powerful force at the net with the ability to contribute immediately in her innagural season. She comes to us with an impressive resume of international experience which we hope will help us with our goals not only this year but in the future. How fast she can adjust to our system and style of play with determine how much she contributes as a true freshman, but down the road we foresee her being a major part of our lineup. With four seasons ahead, Crusader fans have a lot to look forward to in this talented freshman.”
