Diana
Sesto #7Position: Outside Hitter Height: 6-0 Class: Jr. Hometown: Clinton Township, Mich. (Chippewa Valley HS/Macomb CC) Prior to Madonna: Sesto comes to the Crusaders from Macomb Community College where she captained both the volleyball and women's basketball teams last season. She was a basketball teammate of Stephaine Parslow. High School: Was a two-year letterwinner in volleyball at Chippew Valley where she helped her team to nine straight district victories as a prep ... also lettered twice in basketball and once in track as a shot put/discuss specialist. Quoting Coach Abraham: “Diana is another gifted athlete with a strong set of solid volleyball skills and two seasons of college volleyball experience under her belt. She has good size, good agility and an excellent jump. She can attack from the right side or the left side outside hitter position with a wide variety of shot selection. She offers us the luxury to move her around to different positions. Has all the potential, strength and determination to develop into a terminating hitter and a threat as a blocker. Her positive attitude, desire to train and her sound all around athletic skills will enable her to fit in right away as a Crusader. I don't expect it will take very long to see Diana making major contributions on the floor. All indications point to her developing into quite a special player.” Why I Chose Madonna: “When learning about Madonna University and what it had to offer its students, I was very impressed and knew it was the school for me. I like the smaller college environment and the smaller class size. I think I function better in that kind of academic environment. The chance to be on a nationally ranked volleyball team is also extremely exciting for me. With two years and seasons of collegiate experience behind me and two to go, I am looking forward to meeting my knew teammates and beginning my new college experience.” Back to Roster
