Quoting Coach Abraham:
“Coming off a stellar junior season, expectations for Stefanie
will again be very high. She will again be asked and looked upon
to provide a spark defensively as our libero and one of our best
primary passers. One of our quality senior athletes, Stef has
excellent ball control and court awareness. With the quick style
offense we plan to run, we'll need a fine-tuned passing game and
execution to be successful. We'll look to Stefanie to provide
the consistency and defensive leadership needed. Her execution
and high level of defensive play will play a big part in our
team's efforts to make another conference and National
Championship run. Stefanie has learned a lot from her initial
season as our libero and has done the necessary things in the
off-season to raise her game to even a higher level. She plays
with tremendous intensity every time she takes the floor and
provides a spark with her consistent and aggressive serve.
Defense play and serve receive are integral qualities that win
championships at every level. Stefanie will compete as one of
the best nationally at her position. This Crusader is a gamer
who plans to make her final season one to remember.”
