Jacqui Gatt recorded 21 digs on Tuesday night versus Davenport.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The Madonna volleyball team improved to 12-0 in league play and 31-2 overall after defeating Davenport in three games, by scores of 30-18, 30-20, 30-23 on Tuesday night in Grand Rapids.

Sophomore outside hitter
Lubovj Tihomirova (Riga, Latvia/Rigas Classic HS) paced Madonna offensively with 17 kills.  Senior co-captain Caryn Inman (Oxford, Mich./Oxford HS) added 15 kills in the winning cause.

Sophomore
Whitney Fuelling (Milford, Mich./Milford HS) also turned in a double digit performance in the kills category with 13.

Freshman setter
Inta Grinvalds (Portage, Mich./Portage Central HS), who was just named Region VIII Setter of the Week, guided the Crusaders with 24 assists.  Freshman Natalie Niblock (White Pigeon, Mich./White Pigeon HS) chipped in with 18 assists for Madonna.

Junior libero
Jacqui Gatt (Livonia, Mich./Churchill HS) led the Crusaders defensive line with 21 digs on the night.

The Crusaders will return to action on Thursday with the longest road trip of the season, an away game at Warner Southern College in Lake Wales, Florida.  The non-conference tilt is scheduled for a 5:00 p.m. (ET) start.
