LIVONIA, Mich. -- The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference has announced that Madonna freshman Inta Grinvalds (Portage, Mich./Portage Central HS) was named Setter of the Week in a press release on Monday afternoon.

Grinvalds helped the 10th-ranked Crusaders to a 3-0 mark on the week, with wins over Cornerstone, Siena Heights and Concordia.

In Madonna's 3-0 win over Cornerstone (Oct. 10), Grinvalds posted 61 assists and guided the Crusaders to a .308 hitting percentage.  Grinvalds posted 89 total assists (12.71 per game) during the week.

Grinvalds and the league leading Crusaders will return to the court on Tuesday, Oct. 17, in a 7:00 p.m. (ET) contest at Siena Heights in Adrian.
