Caryn Inman reclaimed the conference lead in total kills (419) with 19 in MU's 3-0 win over Indiana Tech on Thursday.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- Senior middle hitter Caryn Inman (Oxford, Mich./Oxford HS) collected 19 kills on .467 hitting to lead the 10th ranked Madonna volleyball team to a sweep of Indiana Tech (30-28, 30-27, 30-16) in Fort Wayne on Thursday night.

The Crusaders (25-2 overall, 6-0 WHAC) improved to 3-0 against Indiana Tech (15-4, 4-3) overall.  Madonna head coach Jerry Abraham earned his 796th career win and needs only one more win to tie Donna Hawkins for second all-time on the NAIA career coaching wins list.

Sophomore outside hitter
Lubovj Tihomirova (Riga, Latvia/Rigas Gymnasia HS) recorded 12 kills, while sophomore outside hitter Whitney Fuelling (Milford, Mich./Milford HS) finished with seven block assists and two solo blocks.

Freshman setter
Inta Grinvalds (Portage, MI/Portage Central HS) posted 42 assists, while junior libero Jacqui Gatt (Livonia, MI/Churchill HS) led Madonna with 26 digs.

The Crusaders will return home for a rivalry match with Cornerstone on Tuesday, Oct. 10.  The contest is slated to begin at 7:00 p.m. (ET).
