Jacqui Gatt posted a team high 19 digs in MU's win over IU-Southeast on Saturday morning.

GEORGETOWN, Ky. -- The Madonna Crusaders went undefeated at the Georgetown College tri-match on Saturday in Georgetown, Kentucky.

Madonna defeated King (TN), 3-0, by scores of 30-17, 30-22, and 30-24 in the afternoon match.

Lubovj Tihomirova (Riga, Latvia/Rigas Gymnasia HS) posted a game high 21 kills in the win over the Tornado.

Senior co-captain
Heather Spooner (Woodhaven, MI/Woodhaven HS) and sophomore Stephanie Parslow (Clinton Twp., MI/Dakota HS) helped Madonna's defensive effort with five blocks and six blocks respectively.

Freshman
Inta Grinvalds (Portage, MI/Portage Central HS) led the offensive charge with 39 assists.

In the first match of the day, the front line of the ninth-ranked Madonna Crusaders dominated Indiana-Southeast on Saturday as the Crusaders defeated the Grenadiers, 3-1, by scores of 30-21, 30-22, 26-30, and 30-26.

Tihomirova posted a team high 24 kills and senior middle hitter
Caryn Inman (Oxford, MI/Oxford HS) recorded 23 kills for the Crusaders in the win.

Junior libero
Jacqui Gatt (Livonia, MI/Churchill HS) collected 19 digs for Madonna.

Freshman
Natalie Niblock (White Pigeon, MI/White Pigeon HS) orchestrated the Madonna offense with 41 assists.

With the wins the Crusaders improve to 23-2 overall and are winners 14 consecutive matches.

Madonna will
return to league play on Tuesday (Oct. 3) as the Crusaders travel to Grand Rapids for a 7:00 p.m. (ET) tilt at Aquinas College.
