GEORGETOWN, Ky. -- The ninth-ranked Madonna volleyball team won its 12th straight contest after defeating Georgetown (KY), 3-0, by scores of 30-19, 30-15 and 30-27 on Friday night.

Madonna's offense was led by sophomore outside hitter Lubovj Tihomirova (Riga, Latvia/Rigas Gymnasia HS) and senior middle hitter Caryn Inman (Oxford, MI/Oxford HS) who posted 12 kills and 11 kills respectively.

Freshman setter Inta Grinvalds (Portage, MI/Portage Central HS) paced the Crusaders offense with 33 assists.

Junior libero Jacqui Gatt (Livonia, MI/Churchill HS) recorded 12 digs to lead the Madonna defensive effort.

Madonna will play Indiana-Southeast in the first of two games on Saturday at the Georgetown Tri-Match.  The Crusaders will take on the Grenadiers at 10:00 a.m. (ET) and then play King (TN) at 2:00 p.m. (ET).
