ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The No. 8 Madonna Crusaders defeated the Concordia Cardinals, 3-0 (30-17, 30-9, 30-15), on Tuesday night at Concordia Fieldhouse in Ann Arbor.

Madonna was led by sophomore Lubovj Tihomirova (Riga, Latvia/Rigas Gymnasia HS) and Caryn Inman (Oxford, MI/Oxford HS) who posted 17 and 16 kills respectively.

Freshman Natalie Niblock (White Pigeon, MI/White Pigeon HS) paced the Crusaders to a .419 hitting percentage after posting a game high 32 assists.

The Crusaders held Concordia to a .000 hitting percentage, forcing 14 attack errors and posting 14 team blocks on the night.  Inman led the Crusaders with 7 total blocks, including two solo blocks.

With the 3-0 win, Madonna records its 14th sweep in 17 matches this season.

No. 8 Madonna returns to action at the Pepsi Bash at the Beach Tournament, hosted by Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Florida on Friday, September 22.  The Crusaders are scheduled to play two games on Friday, first at 12:00 p.m. (ET) against Northwood (FL) and the second at 6:30 p.m. (ET) against Embry-Riddle (FL).
