LIVONIA, Mich. -- The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference announced on Monday afternoon that Madonna senior Caryn Inman (Oxford, MI/Oxford HS) was named WHAC Player of the Week for September 18, 2006, after leading the Crusaders to a 3-0 record during the week.

Inman, who has been named conference Player of the Week twice this season, posted 47 kills in three matches (5.22 per game) for the Crusaders.  Inman recorded a team high 19 kills in MU's 3-0 sweep at No. 24 Cornerstone on September 12.

For the week, Inman posted a .571 hitting percentage with only three attack errors.  The 6-1 middle hitter also recorded 16 total blocks, including four solo blocks in Madonna's perfect week.

Inman is also currently leading the conference in kills (257) and hitting percentage (.457).

The Crusaders (14-2) are ranked eighth in the nation and will next be in action on Tuesday, September 19, at Concordia University for a 7:00 p.m. WHAC tilt at Concordia Fieldhouse.
