2002 Junior Season: One of two Crusaders to compete in all 171 of the teams games. Switched from attacker to newly formed “Libero” position and became teams defensive stopper...Recorded 736 digs...Led the team and the WHAC Conference in digs...Earned first team All-Conference honors...In additoin to digs, Suder recorded 26 assists and five service aces. Voted as teams Defensive Player of the Year. Had double digit dig performances on six occasions. Had season high 33 digs at the Point Loma tournament on August 31. 

2001 Sophomore Season: Competed in all 136 games played in her second season as a Lady Crusader. Put together 7 attack kills in 46 attempts with 10 errors, 0.05 kills per game. Had 10 setting assist in 32 attempts, 0.07 assist per game and an assist percentage of .313. Had a career high 110 service aces (team high, Madonna all time high, and in top five nationally) and 28 service errors in 768 total attempts (first on team) for a serving percentage of .964(4th on team) and 0.81 aces per game (3rd on team). Put together a .934 passing percentage (1st on team) with 30 reception errors in 453 attempts. Compiled 464 digs (team high) with 3.41 digs per game(team high). Earned Second Team WHAC All-Conference and voted as the teams Defensive Player of the Year .Had multiple dig performances on 25 occasions. Had 19 digs in the opening match of the season against Mercyhurst College (PA) on August 24 and 20 digs on September 15 against Siena Heights University. Had season high 8 service aces against Milliken University on October 18. Best overall performance was on September 20 versus the University of Michigan-Dearborn: 22 digs (season high), 3 service aces, 1 reception error and 1 setting assist. 

2000 Freshman Season: Played in 150 games in her first collegiate season as a Lady Crusader. Compiled 486 total digs (5th on team) with 3.24 digs per game (5th on team). Had 60 reception errors in 594 attempts (1st on team) for an .899passing percentage ((6th on team). Put together 9 attack kills in 47 total attempts with 9 errors. Tallied 9 assist in 81 attempts and 0.06 assist per game. Second on the team with 51 service aces, 33 errors, 0.34 aces per game and a .951 serving percentage (4th on team among starters) Voted Freshman Player of the Year. Put together 24 double-digit dig performances. Had 20 digs versus Illinois Wesleyan on October 20 and 22 digs against Cornerstone University on November 18. Best overall performance was on October 21 versus Washington University; 30 digs (career high) and 2 service aces. 

Plymouth Salem High School: Graduated from one of the states most successful high school programs, Plymouth Salem High School. Contributed as a varsity volleyball player all four years earning four varsity volleyball letters. Voted by her teammates and coaches as her teams Most Valuable Player in both her junior and senior years. Also earned All-Division, All-Area and All-Region honors her junior season. Repeated those honors and added All-Conference and All-Metro honors senior year after compiling the most kills, service aces, digs and serving percentage for her team. Led her team last season to a Michigan High School District and Regional Championship and a quarter final finish in the state tournament. Off the court, spent numerous hours as a member of both the Student Council and Athletic Council. Will be remembered as one of Plymouth Salem’s finest female athletes. Amanda graduated with honors, earning a 3.30 cumulative GPA.

High School Coach: Tom Teeters 

Club Ball: Spent five seasons competing with the Crusader Junior Volleyball Club, leading her team to three AAU State Championships. Best National Championship finish was a 7th place finish while competing in the 16 and under division in Chicago, Illinois. Selected as her team’s MVP at the 2000 USVBA National Tourney in Lysle, Illinois.

Coach’s Comments: “One of the nations elite defensive volleyball athletes...Has proven to be one of the best primary passers and all around defensive players to ever wear a Madonna uniform...Plays with a tremendously high level of intensity...As our captain and only senior, Amanda will be our leader and a player we depend on both on and off the court..I believe Amanda is prepared to make her final season her best ever.”
