2002 Freshman Season: Saw action in 115 games her freshman season...Likely would have seen more minutes if not for a sprained ankle mid-way through the season...Posted season high 5 kills versus Northwood (FL.) September 21st...Racked up double-digit dig totals 10 times including season high 12 five different times...Best all-around game came September 7th versus Hillsdale when she posted four kills with 10 digs.
Zeeland High School: Earned nine varsity letters in her high school career. Lettered three years in volleyball, four years in swimming and two years in water polo. As a senior volleyball athlete, earned First-Team All-Conference and All-Region. Named Third Team MHSAA Class A All-State. Was selected to play in the high school All-Star Volleyball game in the summer of 2002. Holds three high school volleyball records; serving percentage (99%) serve reception percentage (94%) and total digs in a season (546). Led her team senior year to a MHSAA District Championship. Chosen team captain senior year. Earned All-Conference swimming honors as a sophomore, junior and senior. Voted to the MHSAA All-State Swimming Team, senior season while being the team captain. Led her swim team to a conference championship in the 200 Individual Medley (senior year) Involved in numerous extra-curricular clubs and organizations: National Honor Society, S.A.D.D., Student Government and B.P.A. Graduated with honors with a 3.66 cumulative GPA.
