2006 Madonna Softball Driving Directions

The directions listed below are from Madonna University to visiting destinations. Please be sure to check in advance any possible construction or alternate routes.  Directions are listed in chronological order of games played.

To Indiana Wesleyan University (MCC/WHAC CHALLENGE SITE
From Madonna - Take 96 W to M-14 W toward Ann Arbor/Toledo.  Take the M-14 exit (number 45) toward Ann Arbor.  Merge onto M-14W.  Take M-14W to I-94 W.  Take I-94 W to I-69S (exit 108 toward Fort Wayne).  Take I-69 South to Exit 59 (SR 22/US 35).  Turn right (west) on SR 22/US 35.  Follow through the town of Gas City to SR 15.  Take SR 15 north (becomes Adams St.) to 45^th St..  Turn left (west) onto 45^th St.  Stay on 45th St. until you reach Washington St.  Turn right (north) on Washington St.  Go 1½ blocks until you reach the IWU main entrance. The softball fields are on campus behind the gymnasium.

To Spring Arbor University (Spring Arbor, MI)
Take I-96 West to M-14 West to I-94 West. Follow I-94 past Jackson to the Spring Arbor Exit (exit #136). Take 60 south about seven miles and Spring Arbor College is on the right. The softball field is on the south west part of campus. Approximate travel time from Madonna is 1 hour 15 minutes.

To Concordia University (Ann Arbor, MI)
Take I-96 West to M-14 West. Follow M-14 West to U.S. 23 South. Follow U.S. 23 South about 2-3 miles to the Geddes Rd. exit (exit #39). Turn right on Geddes Rd. and go about 1/10 of a mile to the first light. Turn right and the fields are on the right.

To Saginaw Valley State (University Center, MI)
Take I-96 West to I-275 North to I-96 West to U.S. 23 North to I-75. Take I-75 north to I-675 Downtown Saginaw exit. (Approximately one mile past M-46 Sandusky exit) Take I-675 through Saginaw to Tittabawassee Road exit. Stay in the middle of three lanes on the exit ramp to turn left (west) on Tittabawassee.  After turning onto Tittabawassee, stay in the right lane and within 100 yards or so (just past the north exit ramp from I-675), turn right on Davis Road, which goes north only. You will see signs on the right for Hampton Inn and Dambros. Davis Road makes an *S* as it connects from Tittabawasee then straightens out. Cross intersections at Liberty & Kochville, and after crossing Pierce Road you will see the football practice field on the right and Wickes Stadium on the right (east); the Ryder Center on the left.

To Siena Heights University (Adrian, MI)
Take I-96 West to M-14 West to U.S. 23 South. Follow U.S. 23 South to Michigan Avenue (U.S. 12, Saline exit) (exit #34). Turn right (West) on U.S. 12 and follow to Highway 52 (stoplight). Turn left on Highway 52 and follow south into Adrian. Once you hit Adrian, you will see a sign to turn left for Siena Heights. The softball field will be on the right as you get to campus.

To Northwood University (MI)
Take I-96 West to I-275 North to I-96 West to US - 23 North to I-75 North.  Take I-75 to exit #162B - US 10 West onto I-75 - BUS west toward Midland.  I-75-BUS west becomes US-10 West.  Take the M-20/US-10 BUS Left Exit onto US-10-BUS West toward Downtown Midland.  Follow about 2.7 miles.  Continue on Patrick Street about 1 mile.  Continue on US-10 Bus West and make a left onto State Street.  Follow to Main Street and Turn right.  Follow about 1.3 miles and bear right on Emerson Park Rd.  Turn left onto Tittabawassee River Rd and then right onto Whiting Dr.  This will get you on campus.

To Cornerstone University (Grand Rapids, MI)
Take I-96 West to I-275 North to I-96 West. Follow I-96 west to Grand Rapids and exit at East Beltline Avenue (exit #38). Turn right on East Beltline and Cornerstone will be on your left about 1/4 mile down. The softball field is on the back side of the campus.

To University of St. Francis (Ft. Wayne, IN)
Take I-96 west to M-14 west to I-94 West. Follow I-94 west to I-69 south. Travel interstate 69 south and exit Highway 14 (Fort Wayne - Illinois Rd Exit#105A) Travel east on Highway 14 for approximately 1 mile. Highway 14 will intersect Highway 24 (Jefferson Blvd.) Travel east on Jefferson Blvd. for approximately 1 mile. Turn left on Lindenwood Avenue and travel approximately 1 mile to Spring Street. West side of campus is on the right, and the main entrance is on Spring Street. Approximate travel time from Madonna is 3 hours 15 minutes.

To Indiana Tech (Fort Wayne, IN)
Take I-96 West to M-14 West to I-94 West. Follow I-94 West to I-69 South and take I-69 to Fort Wayne. From I-69 South take the Coldwater exit South to Coldwater Rd. and turn Left.  Make a right on Anthony.  Once you see Indiana Tech and our baseball field, turn left on Maumee.  Go two blocks and turn left onto Glasgow.  The park entrance is on the right.  Come up the hill and go toward the left to park and be near the field.

Aquinas College (Grand Rapids, MI)
Take I-96 west to I-275 north. Take I-275 north to I-96 West. Follow I-96 West all the way to Grand Rapids and take exit #40A - Cascade Road. Follow Cascade rd until it dead ends at Fulton street and turn left on Fulton Street. Follow Fulton street about 1-2 miles and the college will be on the left side of the street. If you hit Carlton street you went to far. The softball field is right on Fulton Street. Approximate travel time from Madonna is 2 hours.
