Noder Earns Conference Pitcher of the Week Award

The
Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference announced Monday that Madonna senior
Shannon Noder
(Lincoln Park, Mich./Lincoln Park HS) was named pitcher of the week
after posting a pair of conference wins.
Noder (10-5) started the week with a 4-3 win over Concordia and a complete game
effort with three strikeouts.
The southpaw finished up the week with a complete game shutout win over Indiana
Tech Saturday in Livonia.
In the win against the Warriors, Noder recorded seven strikeouts en route to her
second shutout of the season.
This is also the second time this season that Noder has been named the WHAC
Pitcher of the Week.
The Crusaders, who are 19-10 overall and posted a 3-1 record during the week,
will return to action Thursday, April 19 at league leading Aquinas.
