Up Game Winner in Semifinal Win, 1-0
LIVONIA, Mich. --
Evan Baker (Canton, Mich./Canton)
scored the game winning goal as Madonna defeated Indiana Tech, 1-0 in the
WHAC semifinals Tuesday afternoon.
The game was a physical one played on an extremely wet track as both
teams combined for 36 fouls. The score remained for over 89 minutes
even though the Crusaders out shot Tech, 26-8.
It was that 26th goal that proved to be the difference as TJ Djokic
(Livonia, Mich./Stevenson) assisted Miller with the goal.
Madonna improves to 17-1 overall, their 16th consecutive victory and
moves into one half of the WHAC finals on Saturday. Game time is yet
to be determined, but will definitely be played at Greenmead Field.
