WAYNE, Ind.
-- The Madonna men's soccer team picked up their second win in as
many days after
Cory Maupin
(Linden, Mich./Linden HS) netted the game winner at the 37
minute mark of the first half to spoil the St. Francis Senior Day in
Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Junior
Ryan Mathe
(Ypsilanti, Mich./Ypsilanti Lincoln HS) recorded his second
clean sheet of the season after posting three saves on the
afternoon.
The win also meant that the Crusaders stayed unbeaten in road games,
posting a 5-0-1 record in away contests.
The Crusaders return home to take on Siena Heights on Wednesday,
Oct. 18 at 4:00 p.m. (ET) at Greenmead Field.
