Bridges Named WHAC Player of the Week

		D.J. Bridges was named conference player of the week for the second time this season.

LIVONIA, Mich. -- Madonna junior forward D.J. Bridges (Canton, Mich./Canton HS) was named Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Player of the Week announced in a press release on Monday afternoon by the league office.

Bridges helped the Crusaders to a 2-0 record during the week by posting wins over Olivet and Alma.

Bridges averaged 21.0 points and 6.5 rebounds per contest, including a team high 25 points on 11-of-17 shooting from the field in a 79-66 win over Alma on Saturday, Dec. 2.

The player of the week award is the second this season for Bridges.  He won the first conference player of the week award on November 13.

The Crusaders are currently 3-6 overall and will host Bethel (IN) tonight at the Activities Center at 7:30 p.m. (ET)
