		Derrick Mudri led Madonna with 23 points in a 72-68 win over Olivet on Tuesday night.

OLIVET, Mich. --  Senior forward Derrick Mudri (Fowlerville, Mich./Fowlerville HS) poured in a season high 23 points, including five triples, and 15 rebounds en route to leading Madonna to a 72-68 win over Olivet on Tuesday night at the Upton Center.

Junior forward DJ Bridges (Canton, Mich./Canton HS)  chipped in 17 points and six boards in the winning cause for the Crusaders (2-6) and Adam Kerfoot (Gaylord, Mich./St. Mary HS) scored 10 points and handed out a team high eight assists.

Junior guard Charlie Henry (Canton, Mich./Agape Christian Academy) registered his first action of the season with six points and four assists all in 17 minutes against the Comets.

The Crusaders trailed only once in the second half (58-59) and held their largest lead of 10 points in the first half.

In the final 10 minutes of the second half, MU could only stretch the lead to five points as Olivet stayed close late in the game before a pair of Mudri free throws sealed the win in the closing seconds of play.

Madonna will return to the court on Saturday, Dec. 2 in another road non-conference contest at Alma College with tip off scheduled for 3:00 p.m. (ET)
