Crusaders Welcome Back Alumni for Annual Event

LIVONIA, Mich. -- The Madonna men's basketball team welcomed back 14 former Crusaders for the annual Alumni Game on Thursday night in the Activities Center.

The current Crusader squad cruised to an 88-64 victory over a team that featured eight of the top 10 MU career scorers, including the all-time leader, Noel Emenheiser.

The 2006-07 Crusaders team that was unveiled this evening, features eight returning letterwinners, including four returning starters.  Head coach Chuck Henry added to the mix six freshmen newcomers that will help add depth to an experienced lineup.

The Crusaders will kick off the regular season on Saturday, October 4th, in a 3:00 p.m. (ET) non-conference tilt at Spring Arbor University.
