D.J. Bridges posted 28 points and seven rebounds in MU's loss on Saturday against Taylor-Fort Wayne.

GOSHEN, Ind. -- D.J. Bridges (Canton, Mich./Canton HS) 28 points and seven rebounds but for the fourth consecutive game the Crusaders men's basketball team lost, this time in a 71-66 decision to Taylor-Fort Wayne in the consolation game of the McDonald's Maple City Hoopfest Tournament in Goshen, Indiana.

Senior Doug Creighton (Taipei, Taiwan/Catholic Central HS) and junior guard Keith Hearns (Livonia, Mich./Stevenson HS) each tallied nine points for Madonna.

Senior guard Adam Kerfoot (Gaylord, Mich./St. Mary HS) posted a game high 11 assists along with six points and six steals in a losing effort for MU.

The Crusaders out rebounded the Falcons, 37-32, but Taylor-Ft. Wayne recorded a .520 shooting percentage from the field (28-of-54) and Madonna shot only .400 from the floor (24-of-60).

Madonna will return to action on Wednesday, Nov. 21, in a home non-conference game with Rochester at 7:30 p.m. (ET)
