The Madonna men's
basketball team dropped their third consecutive game after falling
to Goshen 77-62 in the opening game of the McDonald's Maple City
Hoopfest Tournament on Friday night in Goshen, Indiana.
Junior D.J. Bridges (Canton,
Mich./Canton HS) led all scorers with a career high 28 points
for Madonna.
Senior guard Adam Kerfoot
(Gaylord, Mich./St. Mary HS) recorded 11 points and senior
forward Mike Rashad (Inkster,
Mich./Wayne Memorial HS) scored eight points and grabbed a team
high eight rebounds in the losing effort for the Crusaders.
With the loss, Madonna will play in the consolation game on
Saturday, Nov. 11 at 1:00 p.m. (ET) against Taylor-Ft. Wayne.
