Adam Kerfoot Named to the NAIA Scholar Athlete Team
Senior Point Guard Caps Off Collegiate Career with Academic Honor

OLATHE, Kan. -- Madonna University senior Adam Kerfoot (Gaylord, Mich./St. Mary HS) was named to the 2007 NAIA Division II men's basketball Scholar Athlete team in a statement released by the NAIA today.

Over 150 men's basketball players from across the country have been named 2007 Daktronics-NAIA Men's Basketball All-American Scholar-Athletes. Student-athletes must be nominated by their head coach, have achieved junior academic status and maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.

Kerfoot, a fire science major at Madonna University, was named to the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference All-Academic team in February.  He also earned Third Team All-WHAC honors after leading the conference in assists (4.6 per game) and ranked third on the team in scoring (10.7 points per game).
