Derrick Mudri scored a team high 22 points in his final collegiate contest.

LIVONIA, Mich. - Indiana Tech blistered the nets all night, shooting 53-percent (34-of-64) from the field en route to knocking off Madonna 90-78 Thursday night at the Activities Center.

The loss ends Madonna's season and the collegiate basketball careers of seniors
Doug Creighton (Taipei, Taiwan/Catholic Central HS), Derrick Mudri (Fowlerville, Mich./Fowlerville HS) and Adam Kerfoot (Gaylord, Mich./St. Mary HS).

Indiana Tech (19-12) jumped out to a 52-36 lead at the half behind the strength of 62-percent (21-of-34) shooting from the floor, including 73-percent (8-of-11) from behind the three-point line.

Madonna (12-19) trailed by as much as 16 points (77-61) in the second half before trimming the lead to just seven points (79-72) with 1:24 left in the game.  However, the Warriors clinched the win with an 11-6 run over the final minute of play to advance to the tournament semifinals.

Mudri led the Crusaders with 22 points and nine rebounds.  Junior
Keith Hearns (Livonia, Mich./Stevenson HS) added 12 points and Kerfoot had 11 points and seven assists in the loss.

Indiana Tech was led by Curtus Thomas' 27 points.  Jonathon Battle chipped in with 24 off the bench.

The Warriors move on to play at Cornerstone on Saturday, Feb. 24 at 3:00 p.m.
