FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Junior forward D.J. Bridges (Canton, Mich./Canton HS) scored a game high 31 points while leading the Madonna men's basketball team to an 84-76 win over Indiana Tech Wednesday night.

Madonna led 44-33 at halftime, while shooting 61-percent (17-of-28) from the field, including 56-percent (5-of-9) from behind the three-point line.

Overall, the Crusaders shot 59-percent (32-of-54) from the floor, including 57-percent (8-of-14) from beyond the arc.

Indiana Tech outscored MU 43-40 in the second half, but were unsuccessful in trimming the deficit any more than eight points.

Senior forward Derrick Mudri (Fowlerville, Mich./Fowlerville HS) added 14 points to the Madonna scoring attack, while senior forward Doug Creighton (Taipei, Taiwan/Detroit Catholic Central HS) and junior guard Charlie Henry (Canton, Mich./Agape Christian Academy) also recorded double digit point totals with 12 and 11 points respectively.

The Crusaders will return to action Saturday, Feb. 3 in a 3:00 p.m. tip off against league leading Aquinas in the Activities Center.
