Golf Finishes Third At Spring Arbor Invite
Steve South (pictured) carded a two round
total of 150 (74, 76) to lead the Madonna men to
a third place finish at the Spring Arbor Spring
Invite at Arbor Hills Golf Club in Jackson. The
Crusaders are back in action this Friday and
Saturday as part of the Rumble at The Rock II

Cheesman Ninth; MU Seventh At USF Invite
Aaron Cheesman stayed in the
top-10, firing an 82 on day two at the USF
Invite to place ninth. The Madonna men's
linksters finished the tournament in seventh as
conditions turned for the worse on Saturday as
wind and rain caused a jump in scores across the
board.

Aaron
Cheesman shot a 76 to lead the Madonna men at
day one of the USF Spring Invite in Fort Wayne.
Cheesman sits in fifth overall individually. MU
as a team is in third, one stoke ahead of WHAC
rival Indiana Tech. Day two wraps up tomorrow
with 18 more holes of action.

shot a 76 on the second day at the Bellarmine
Intercollegiate - three strokes better than day
one - to tie for 10th place as the Madonna men's

in the overall final WHAC standings and Steve

Fellow's Creek golf Course on Saturday.

Adrian, Michigan, MU finished just three strokes
behind first place Davenport.

Senior Jono McMahon shot a one-over 73 to come
home in second place at the opening WHAC
jamboree of the fall season on Wednesday at
Cornerstone. The Crusaders were tied for fourth
as a team.

Records First Ace in MU Golf History
Jono McMahon made golf history Sunday, becoming
the first Madonna golfer to record a hole-in-one
when he sank his tee shot on the 171-yard
par-three seventh.
McMahon went on to win the Bay Point
Invitational with a three-under-par 63.
