CANTON, Mich.
-- The Madonna men's golf team finished in 10th place after shooting a 319 at
the Motor City Invitational at Pheasant Run Golf Club in Canton on Friday.
The Crusaders were led by junior
Aaron Cheesman
(Canton, MI/Salem HS) who carded a 77 and tied for a 35th place finish.
Freshman
Steve South
(Westland, MI/Livonia, Franklin HS) and sophomore
Matt Robinson
(Livonia, MI/Churchill HS) both finished with a 6-over par 78.
Senior golfer
Steve Robinson
(Livonia, MI/Churchill HS) fired an 86 and finished in a tie for 74th
place.
Freshman
Justin Taurence
(Wyandotte, MI/Roosevelt HS) rounded out the Crusaders scores with a 90
on the day.
Friday's event completed the Crusaders' fall schedule. Highlights of the
fall season include the men's golf team finishing in first place at WHAC
Jamboree #5 en route to a second place overall finish in the WHAC schedule this
fall.
