MU Harriers Wrap Up Season At
NAIA Regionals
The
Madonna cross country teams team closed out the 2007
season, as both placed 15th at the NAIA Region
VIII championship on Saturday (Nov. 3) in Grand
Rapids, Mich. Keith Hearns led the men with a
time of 27:12, while Kirstian Tyler led the
women with a time of 19:26. Nine MU runners set
season bests today.

Harriers Fifth At WHAC Championship
Both Madonna
cross country teams finished fifth at the 2007
WHAC Championships held in Adrian on Saturday.
Joe Horka (pictured) led the men with a time of
26:50 on the 8k course while Kirstian Tyler led
the women with a time of 20:27 for the 5k
distance. MU wraps up the season on Nov. 3 at
the NAIA Region VIII Championship.

Cross Country
Runs At UW-Parkside
Kirstein Tyler ran the 5k course at UW-Parkside
in a time of 20:05 to place 38th as the MU women
were 11th at the Lucian Rosa Cross Country
Invitational. Joe Horka ran the 8k distance in
26:52 to pace the men and finish in 33rd place.
The MU men were 13th as a group. The UW Parkside
course is the site of the upcoming National
Championships.

Crusaders Run
At Michigan Intercollegiates
The
Madonna cross country teams took part in the
Michigan Intercollegiates hosted by Oakland
University on Friday. Joe Horka led the men to a
sixth place finish while Kirstian Tyler led the
women to a seventh place finish.

paced the men's team to a 26th place team finish
with his time of 27:16 to finish 76th
individually at the National Catholic
Championships hosted by Notre Dame Friday
afternoon. Kirstian Tyler finished with a
time of 20:31 to pace the women.

annual Detroit Titan/Running Fit Invite on
Saturday at nearby Cass Benton Park. The men’s
harriers finished eighth, while the women were
fifth.
