Crusaders Debut at #25 in NAIA Coaches Poll
11.16.2006 LIVONIA, Mich. -- The Madonna baseball team debuted at #25 in the NAIA preseason coaches poll released today. The Crusaders received 70 points and are three spots lower than their final ranking of the 2006 campaign. Madonna is the lone WHAC member to appear in the top-25 and are the only Region VIII team to crack the poll. Head Coach Greg Haeger and his squad will likely be the WHAC favorite again in 2007, coming off their second straight regular season title, a NAIA Region VIII championship and the school's first ever Super Regional appearance last season. The 2007 team will debut March 2-9, 2007 when they head to Pensacola, Florida for the Russ Matt Baseball Challenge, part of their annual spring trip south. VIEW THE COMPLETE PRESEASON POLL
