BOX SCORE

FORT WAYNE, Ind.
As good as the Madonna bats were in their opening round win over Aquinas, Josh Judy was that good or better tonight, baffling the Crusaders in a 4-1 Indiana Tech victory.

Judy, the 2007 WHAC pitcher of the year, fanned 12 Crusaderes on his way to the complete game win, and propelling Indiana Tech into the drivers seat for the tournament title.

Madonna mustered just four hits on the night, singles by Gary VanAllen, Ryan Morrow, Manny Alvarado and Garrett Ignasiak.

The Warriors scored all four runs off Madonna starter Mike Orehek
(5-1) who threw well, taking his first loss of the season.

Orehek went the distance, scattering 13 hits and allowing the four earned runs while striking out two.

The two teams will be back at it Friday beginning at 1:00 pm in the first of a possible two championship games.

Madonna will send junior all-conference pitcher Will Kennedy to the hill.

You can hear all the action LIVE beginning at 1:00 pm on the Crusaders Internet Radio Network.
