Madonna Baseball Radio Schedule Announced

The Madonna baseball team won regional and conference titles in 2006.

LIVONIA, Mich. -- The Madonna University athletic department released a tentative broadcast schedule for 2007 Madonna baseball season today (1/31/07).

All games will be broadcast via Stretch Internet and available free of charge to fans via the Crusaders Online website.

The 2007 Madonna baseball team will be the first team to have their games broadcasted via Stretch Internet during the spring season.

Play-by-play broadcasts will be anchored by Matt Fancett and will feature 22 games during the season with the possibility of more games added later in the year, including pivotal late season match-ups and post-season games.

The Crusaders will make their radio debut Saturday, March 3rd in their season opener versus Urbana University (Ohio) at the 2007 RussMatt Baseball Challenge in Pensacola, Florida.   The home broadcasting debut will take place Saturday, March 17th live from Ilitch Ballpark against Malone College (Ohio).

Madonna baseball is the latest sport to have its games broadcast under the first season of a two-year deal between Madonna athletics and Stretch Internet.  Fans of Madonna baseball will also have the ability to track the Crusaders progress through the season by signing up for the free E-Scores service notifying subscribers of game scores and news alerts via email and/or text messages.
