Women's Golf Third After Day One At USF Invite
The Madonna women's
golf team opened its 2008 season on Sunday at
the USF Invite in Kendallville, Ind. Freshman
Jacqueline McCormick (pictured) led the
Madonna
efforts with a college low score of 84. As
a team, MU shot 352 and sits in third.
Play wraps up with 18 more holes tomorrow.

The 2008 women's golf fall schedule was released
today with the seven WHAC jamboree's
highlighting the slate. MU will host its
conference event on Saturday, September 27, at
Fellows Creek Golf Course in Canton.

Athens product Jackie McCormick has
signed a letter of intent to join the Crusaders
and continue her academic and athletic careers

Simnitch Signs Letter Of Intent With Women's
Golf
Head women’s golf coach Scott Marzolino
announced the fist student-athlete in his 2008
recruiting class with the signing of Mott
Community College transfer Sara Simnitch
to a letter of intent. Simnitch will continue
her academic and athletic careers this fall and
plans to major in broadcast communications and
religious studies.

were named to the Wolverine Hoosier Athletic
Conference women's golf all-conference team.
