McCormick Shoots One Under; MU Third at USF
Freshman Jacqueline McCormick (pictured) led the Madonna efforts with a one under par round of 71 while the Crusaders took 20 strokes off of their day one total to finish third at the USF Invite.  As a team, MU shot 332 on Monday and McCormick's 71 was the low round of the event. FULL RESULTS

Women's Golf Third After Day One At USF Invite
The Madonna women's golf team opened its 2008 season on Sunday at the USF Invite in Kendallville, Ind. Freshman Jacqueline McCormick (pictured) led the Madonna efforts with a college low score of 84.  As a team, MU shot 352 and sits  in third. Play wraps up with 18 more holes tomorrow. FULL RESULTS

Head women’s golf coach Scott Marzolino announced the fist student-athlete in his 2008 recruiting class with the signing of Mott Community College transfer Sara Simnitch to a letter of intent. Simnitch will continue her academic and athletic careers this fall and plans to major in broadcast communications and religious studies.
