The Madonna women's golf team are finished in seventh place at the
two-day IMI Tournament in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The Crusaders were lead on Saturday by Ashley
Laws, who carded a career best 85.
Senior Lisa Rodriguez shot a 104 and
Danielle Elswick and
Kassi Jacob each recorded scores of
106.
On Friday, the Crusaders were still in contention for a top five finish after
Ashley Laws
(Wayne, MI/Wayne Memorial HS) shot a 100 to lead the Crusaders on
Friday.
Sophomore
Danielle Elswick
(Wayne, MI/Wayne Memorial HS) sits just behind Laws after carding
a 101 on the day.
Seniors Lisa Rodriguez (Farmington Hills, MI/Mercy HS) and Kassi
Jacob (Gaylord, MI/St. Mary HS) rounded out the Crusaders scoring
efforts, recording scores of 109 and 113 respectively.
The
Crusaders return to the course on Saturday, Oct. 7, in their final fall
event at Siena Heights University in Adrian.
