Scott Marzolino
Head Women's Golf Coach

Scott Marzolino enters his second year as the head coach of the Madonna women’s golf team.  Marzolino became the second head coach in the program’s history on August 16, 2005.

Marzolino took over the women's program from Bill Durham who spent two years at the helm of both the men’s and women’s teams at Madonna.

"We are very pleased to have a person like Scott at Madonna University," stated Madonna athletic director Bryan Rizzo.  "Scott is a very organized, detail oriented person with great knowledge of the game and is someone who we believe can take our women's program to the next level."

Marzolino has been a coach at different levels for the better part of a decade working with the Farmington Hills Hoceky Association, Riverview Gabriel Richard baseball and Wyandotte American Legion baseball among other.  This is his first golf coaching position.

His background in the game as a player is impressive, having competed in the Michigan Publinx Golf Association tournament series six times.  He was a MPGA Net1 Division Champion and a finalist at the Deyak Classic.  Marzolino also has two career top-10 finishes at the Michigan Publinx Golf Association golf tournaments to his credit.

A 1990 graduate of Grand Valley State University, Marzolino earned his Master of Science from Wayne State University in 1993 and a MBA certificate from Tulane University in 2003.

He currently works as an Account Manager for Perot Systems Corporation.

In addition to his work with Perot and Madonna, Marzolino is a longtime and highly regarded ice hockey referee, working over 200 games in the last three years including several high profile Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) playoff games including the 2005 division 1 championship game.

The 38-year-old Marzolino and his wife Dina have three daughters, Alyssa, Adrienne and Emily.
