Beth Hubbard enters her
second year as a full-time Athletic Trainer at Madonna
University after five years as the Head Athletic Trainer at
Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Hubbard’s athletic training
career started at Hope College, where she graduated Cum
Laude in 1999. While majoring in Athletic Training, Hubbard
worked with a variety of the Hope’s athletic teams and
performed clinical rotations at Lakewood Family Medicine,
Holland Hospital rehabilitation clinic and Zeeland High
School.
After leaving Hope College,
Hubbard served as an intern with the Pittsburgh Pirates and
the West Michigan Whitecaps before serving as a graduate
assistant at Indiana University. Hubbard also spent two
years working as an athletic trainer at the OSMC
Rehabilitation Services and The Center for Sports Medicine
before completing her master’s degree from Indiana
University in 2000.
Prior to joining the
Madonna University staff, Hubbard’s duties at Calvin
included providing athletic training services for 15 varsity
and four junior varsity teams. Hubbard also supervised a
staff assistant athletic trainer, several student athletic
trainers and training room aides.
